Chrysanthemums

Fashion has set the seal of its approval
upon the Chrysanthemum as the favorite
fall flower, and justly so, for its gorgeous,
glowing, brilliant beauty surpasses all of Autumn's brilliant
colors. For hundreds
of years it has been cultivated by the experts of Japan,
and American florists have
added wonderfully to its development.
They are easily
grown and make a grand
showing during October and
November.

Col. Appleton. -- If you have
only one yellow "Mum," let it
be Appleton. It is a perfect
model. Dwarf, stiff stemmed,
elegant in foliage, enormous
in bloom, finely incurved and
golden yellow. Perfectly
healthy. Each 25c, 50c and

expense.

Glory of the Pacific. -- The
earliest flowering light pink
variety, being ready to cut by
October 8th. Has stiff, strong
stem; excellent foliage. Dwarf
and fine for pot culture. Each

White Pacific. -- Like the
above; but a perfect white
flower. Each 25c, 50c and
75c, by express only.

Wm. H. Lincoln. -- A magnificent
golden yellow variety with straight, flat spreading
petals. If you want an extra fine specimen plant,
this is the variety. Each 25c, 50c and 75c, by express
only.

Mrs. Henry Robinson. -- A perfect form of exceptional
merit, large and well finished, medium early white,
blooming with us October 5th. Fine substance; very

Pink Ivory. -- A sport from and identical with Ivory
In every respect except color, which is a beautiful shell
pink. A strong grower. Each 25c, 50c and 75c, by

White Ostrich Plume. -- An exquisitely beautiful variety with grand pure white flowers of globular
form; petals broad and lasting and thickly covered with fine downy hairs so much admired. Strong
and vigorous plant. Each 25c, 50c and 75c, by express only.

NOTICE. -- At this season of the year, these Chrysanthemums are too large for mailng and must be
sent by express at purchaser's expense.

HARDY POMPON CHRYSANTHEMUMS. -- These small "Mums" are popular again; they are perfectly
hardy and give showers of bloom after most other flowers are gone; excellent specimen plants for lawn.

Little Bob. -- Small red flowers; this is a free bloomer. Each 10c, doz. 75c.

Utan. -- Flowers are light magenta; edged and tipped with white. Each 10c, doz. 75c.

Snowdrop. -- Pure white flowers. Each 10c, doz. 75c.

Golden Pheasant. -- A delightful yellow. Each 15c, doz. 75c.

FUCHSIA. -- These, when in full bloom, are the
most graceful of all cultivated plants; nothing surpasses
the beauty of well-grown specimens

Jupiter. -- A new giant flowered variety from
France. The flowers are of really mammoth size
with very rich violet purple corolla. Tube and
sepals bright crimson. Plant is a strong, hardy,
free grower. Each 15c.

White Phenomenal. -- The grandest double white
variety in existence and one which should be in
every home. Each 15c.

Monarch. -- This is by far the largest of the single
varieties. Its immense blooms are a very dark
purple color. Each 10c.

Black Prince. -- Tube and sepals bright carmine,
petals large and broad with pale green tips; large
open, pale pink corolla. Easily grown in tree
form. We once had a plant 7 feet high, loaded with
two thousand flowers at once. Each 10c.
