Dear Eliza,

I had heard that you were expected, but had not heard of your arrival. Your note telling me, was most welcome, I shall see you at my earliest opportunity, it would be more convenient for me to call upon you at Geo.'s if you will be kind enough to let me know when you will be there. Mother learned of your's & Aunt Fisher's coming as she was leaving the

house for a western trip she will come back to see you before you leave. I met Mary Wilmarth last evening, who told me that you were both looking very natural & well. I feel quite impatient to see you, but engagements made, prevent me from taking the hours needed to come to your present address.
