at the last meeting of the vestry,
a letter from Bishop Whittle suggesting
the name of several ministers, was read
on motion of Mr. Potts the name of the
Rev Henry Wall of Maryland was
presented and he was unanimously
elected to the rectorship of St Johns
and the wardens were instructed
to communicate the same to him
tendering the use of the parsonage and
guaranteeing the payment of a salary
of one thousand dollars per annum.
Messrs Carrington & Glover were
appointed a committee to make a
report on the state of the accounts of
the Treasurer
The meeting then adjourned
