Ordinance intituled an Ordinance for regulating
the Election of Delegates and ascertaining their
allowances and also for regulating the Election
of Committee men in the several Counties and
Corporations within this Colony and for other
purposes therein mentioned-- For establishing
a mode of making Tobacco payments during the
discontinuance of the Inspection Law being read.
Resolved that the same be put off till Tomorrow.
Ordered, that Mr. Holt have leave to be absent
from the service of this Convention for the Remainder
of the Session.
Mr. Thomas Walker laid before the Convention
an Amount of the Money expended at the late Treaty
with the Indians by the Commissioners appointed
for that purposes which is as ordered to lie on the
Table for the perusal of the Members.
Adjourned till tomorrow half after 10. oClock
