SUMMARY OF MILITARY OCCUPATIONS: WATER FUPPLY UNIT COMMANDER --- commanded a water supply company consisting of 6 officers and 130 unlisted men engaged in the purification and distribution of water to troops, military installation and operations of six mobile water purification units. Was responsible for the transportation selections and training of personnel, supply and housing and feeding of the troops. Performed administrative duties necessary for the efficient operation of the unit. Advised civilian and military government official on problems relating to the proper actions to be taken in the reconstruction and purification procedures of city water plants and systems. Authorized: European African Middle Eastern Ribbon with five bronze batter stars for participation in Northern France, Normandy, Rhineland, Ardeanes and Central Europe Campaigns and World War II Victory Ribbons.
