SUMMARY OF MILITARY OCCUPATIONS: MEDICAL TECHNICIAN - Performed duties while serving with the 63rd Field Hospital in the United States and the European Theater of Operations. Assisted nurses and medical officers by giving hypodermics, and by taking temperature, pulse, and blood pressure readings. Gave medicines on instruction of medical officer. As ward master maintained patient's charts, and made proper disposition, Supervised work of twelve other medical technicians.
FILE CLERK Worked for six months in the receiving and evacuation office of the Northington General Hospital. Filed records of patients, and checked out records for departing patients. Typed admission forms for entry into hospital. Handled file cards for 3300 patients, and was in charge of one shift.
