SUMMARY OF MILITARY OCCUPATIONS: Decontaminating Equipment Operator: Used power driven decontaminating equipment in Southwest Pacific. As no poison gas was used, this apparatus was employed for carrying purified drinking water to units that could not obtain same. Equipment was operated much in the same manner as for the purpose for which it was intended.

CIVILIAN OCCUPATIONS: Houseman (III): Form 1938 to May 1941 worked for various people. Performed general household duties of a more laborious nature for a group of people in Falls Church, Virginia. Worked in one home for two or three days scrubbing walls, moving furniture, tending furnace, beating rugs, washing windows, etc. and then moved on to next house. Occasionally acted in capacity of chauffeur and drove family car.
