kitchen only.
G. A small woodshed Not acted upon is required, say 10 feet x 15 feet.
H. The Barn Remain for the present should be moved its length or more away from the house, which it now nearly touches; the stable door and kitchen door opening very nearly opposite.
I. Both House and Barn yes to be new shingled.
K. The outside of the house yes - now might be painted more or less with advantage; but it can wait another year, if necessary.
L. The above does not cover all; as skilful mechanics will detect various cracks & flaws, no doubt, which will add something to the above. My idea would be to put everything in order now, & I can keep it so.
Very respectfully, Your obedient servant, C. W. Folsom, Superintendent

Office of Mt Auburn Cemetery

July 1870

The committee to whom was referred the communications of Mr A C Trull and Henry Blaney Esq. and the letter of the Supt accompanying the same.

Make the following Report:

They have examined the tombs of Mr Blaney, and Mr Trull, and find a portion of each in bad condition, They were informed by the Mason under whose charge they were built, that the walls were laid up late in the fall of the year, and in his opinion the action of frost upon the mortar, was the original cause of the displacement of the side walls of the tombs. As the Tombs were so lately build, fo rthe parties, by this corporation, we recommend the relaying of the side walls and making such other repairs, if any, as may appear to be necessary to put the tomb in good order, at the expense of Mt Auburn Cemetery, at such^early time as may be convenient to the Superintendent
