Art. 21, near top of 45th page.

"The surveyor shall here-
after measure and put upon the sectional plan both
the interior and exterior lines of the lots, and express
the interior distances of the side lines and diagonals
in figures. The Superintendent shall give written
notice to the surveyor of all changes made in the
lines of the lots, or of avenues and paths, who shall
mark all such changes upon the sectional plan
in red ink, to distinguish them from the lines already
drawn, which shall not be erased without the permis-
sion of the Board of Trustees. The surveyor
shall make his surveys at Mount Auburn, and
enter the same quarterly."

I propose to add --

"He shall
contract with and act under the direction of the Com-
mittee on Lots in all matters pertaining to lots: and
in respect to other surveys, shall act under the
direction of the Committee on Grounds or the Board of
Trustees."

Art. 22 -- Treas.

There is a possibility of conflict between the duties of the
Com. on Lots & Com. on Grounds. The Com. on Lots "have
the general supervision of all sales, locations, and en-
largement of lots, also of all questions of right between
individual proprietors, and between proprietors and the
