Dear Sir
I give you below a list of
the men whose services I value the most & whom
I should be glad to keep thru the winter. If you will
approve, I shall then be able to give a few days
notice to all to be discharged. Unless the season is un-
usually open, I would propose to reduce the number to
25 on Dec. 1st, if our top dressing, the covering of myrtle,
and other orders are nearly enough finished to admit.
