Mrs. E. B. Roelfson, Allston.

Dear Madam: -

In regard to the inquiry as to the repairs needed on your lot, I find that to regrade enrich the soil relay the best of the sod and seed the balance of the lot will cost $33.00. Instead of raising the headstone on the left I think the large one beside it should be lowered enough to cover the joint which will cost$2.00

[Respectfully yours?]

G. S. Russ, Esq., Medford.

Dear Sir: -

The cost of cleaning the curbing and steps on your lot will be $6.00.

The curbing needs resetting in part and releading. The lot would be improved by removing the border stone as has been done on the adjoining lot.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Mrs. L. W. LeCain, Dorchester, Mass.

Dear Madam: -

The present base of the headstone out of plumb should be removed and the stone built into a proper foundation, which with cleaning the stone will cost $7.50.

There are several posts which are not needed and only break up the sod, if all but the four at the corners are removed, the lot regraded and enriched, the banks resodded and the balance of the lot sown with grass seed the expense will be $35.00.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

F. F. Emery, Esq., Boston.

Dear Sir: -

The price of myrtle has been recently advanced and as the repairs you order will cost considerable I thought better to write you before going on with the work.

The cost of the new myrtle grave will be $12.00. There is myrtle enough on the lot to replant three graves and three will have to be entirely renewed making the cost of the six $51.00.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Miss N. A. Cummings

Dear Madam

The bad appearance of the bank at the rear of your lot is due to its steepness and to too much shade. Some seed can be thrown upon the bank which may improve it somewhat, but the only real remedy is to lower the lot next to yours and remove the bank, and whenever the owner of the lot makes any repairs to the lot, he may be induced to lower the grade, and remove the bank.

Yrs Truly, J. W. Lovering (Lot 2497)

Mrs. G. H. Wadleigh

Dear Madam,

Yours received, The fence will be removed from lot 2013 at your request and the number cut upon one of the corner posts, but as we do not cut letters you will please give an order to some stone cutter for that part of the work.

Yours Resp'y. J. W. Lovering Sup't. per F.A.B.
