At a meeting of the Garden & Cemetery Commit-
tee, held, , present, Judge Story,
General Dearborn, Dr Bigelow, Mr Bond and
Mr Brimmer -

Loan of $5000

Voted, that in the opinion of their Committee
it is expedient to borrow five thousand dollars
to be reimbursed with interest out of the ^first pro-
ceeds of sale of Cemetery lots, and to be applied
to the purchase of land lying on the West side
of the Garden & Cemetery, and to the making of
improvements in the Mount Auburn Estate

Dr Bigelow, Messr Bond, Gould and Everett

Cottage

Voted that Gen. Dearborn, Dr Bigelow and
Mr Brimmer, be a committee to cause a Cottage
for the Superintendant
to be built, and the
garden grounds to be laid out, provided
the expense do not exceed two thousand
dollars;--
