"Stone estate", so called, and presented the following Vote

M.P. Brazee.

Voted. That the Treasurer and Secretary execute and
deliver to M.P. Brazee or his assigns a deed of the land
heretofore conveyed to him by ^a deed bearing date on the
_____ day of _____, with a general
warranty against all claims.
and the vote so presented was thereupon accepted
and passed by the Trustees.

Story J. bequest from

Mr B.R. Curtis presented the following Report.
The Committee to whom was refered the subject of the
bequest of the last Mr Justice Story, beg leave respect-
fully to report that the nature of the trusts upon
which the bequest was made, in their opinion requires
a separate account to be kept of the income and
expenditures of this fund, but pursuant to a regula-
tion made by the Trustees on the . there can be no separate investment of it;
that regulation was as follows. (See vote on page 95.)
We do not perceive any good reason why it should be de-
parted from it this instance. The donor was himself
one of the persons by whom the regulation was made,
and having made a bequest which comes within its
terms & spirit must be taken to have made the be-
quest subject to the regulation. At the same time
we should think it proper to give notice to the Execu-
tors of Mr Justice Story of the regulation and how
the income of the fund will be ascertained. We
have subjoined certain votes which we think
should be passed.
