Proprietors 1838

Pursuant to the above notice which was
published in the Mercantile Journal,
a newspaper printed in Boston, seven
days before the time of the said
meeting the Proprietors of the Cemetery
of Mount Auburn met at the
said Rooms of the Massachusetts
Horticultural Society on
In the absence of the President Doctor
Jacob Bigelow
was chosen President
pro tem.

Trustees Chosen.

The following named gentlemen were
then elected ^by ballot Trustees for the ensuing year
Messrs Joseph Story, George Bond, Jacob Bigelow,
Benjm A. Gould, James Reed, Charles P.
Curtis
, Martin Brimmer, Benjm R. Curtis,
Isaac Parker.

Treasr Report.

The Treasurers Report was then read
by the Secretary & it was voted to
accept the same & that it be recorded
by the Secretary.-
