Pursuant to a notice issued by the Secretary
the Trustees of the Proprietors of the Cemetery
of Mount Auburn met at the office of
the Secretary in Boston on the first Mon-
day, being the third day of February
in the year eighteen hundred & forty
Present Mess^rs Armstrong, Bigelow, Bond,
Gould & Parker.

The President being absent Dr. Bigelow
was chosen chairman.
The Secretary being absent M^r George
T. Curtis was chosen Secretary pro
tem^e.

Treasurer's Report

The Treasurer laid beore the
Society the following report & it
was thereupon voted that it be
approved & laid before the Corpora
tion at their annual meeting this
day.

The Treasurer reports the following synopsis of Receipts
& Payments for the eighth year ending Dec. 31. 1839 to wit

There remained in the Treasury on 1 Jan^y 1839. _ 2780.79
He has since received

for dividends on Stocks	582 _
" [for] dist of interest on Stark Mills	___
assessments . . . . . . . . . . . . . .	$8.95
" [for] dist on Stocks purchased 59.90}	___
less pd prem^m ofn do [stocks] do [purchased] 23.	36.90
