Trustees. .

Pursuant to notices issued in the usual manner the Trustees
met at the office of C.P. Curtis Esquire at . Present Messrs
Bigelow, C.P. Curtis, Dixwell, Parker, and Tisdale.

Trees to be trimmed _ underbrush to be removed.

Voted. That Dr Bigelow be requested to instruct Mr
Howe
to take farther measures to remove under brush
and for the trimming of trees &c. as may be necessary
for the improvement of the grounds.

Safe.

Voted. That J.J. Dixwell be appointed a committee of
one, with full powers to provide a suitable safe for the
use of the Secretary in the preservation of his Records &c

Avenues to be finished off.

Voted. That Mr Howe cause two or three of the principal
avenues to be finished off in the most approved man-
ner, under the advice of Mr Tisdale, keeping an account
of the expense of doing so which shall be reported to this
board. Adjourned.

Jonn Preston's claim.

Voted. That Messrs James Read and B.A. Gould be a
committee to settle with Mr Jonathan Preston in
relation to his claim for compensation in overseeing
repairs on the Chapel; it being the opinion of this board
however, that one hundred dollars will be an ade-
quate sum to compensate him fully.
Adjourned to meet at at this plac[e]
