were given on the condition that the Statue should
be placed in the Chapel of the Cemetery: and inasmuch as
the said statue is completed, the undersigned request
that it may be removed to its place of destination, as
early as convenient. Ten years have elapsed since the sub-
scriptions were paid into the hands of the Treasurer of
Mount Auburn, & about one third of the contributors have
departed this life without witnessing the accomplishment
of the object for which their contributions were made
by them and accepted by the Trustees of the Cemetery.
