Kalmias
Dr. Bigelow reported that he has caused more than one
hundred Kalmias to be transported from Wilton N. H. and set
out in the Cemetery, and also other ornamental shrubs from New York. The Kalmias are planted along the front line of the
Cemetery Eastward from the gate, and some of them by the
pond called Meadow - Pond.
Mr Bangs from the Committee on the cart way gate
reported that by proper signs on the gate, inside and out, the
object of keeping it closed was effected.
