Complaint being made that proprietors sometimes
employ to cut down trees in their lots persons not
in the service of the Corporation, and that such work
is often done in a manner prejudicial to the inter-
ests of the Corporation and individual proprietors,

Order for-bidding the cutting down of trees by persons not in employ of the Corpn

It was

Voted that hereafter no trees shall be
cut down in the Cemetery by any other person
than those employed by the Corporation under the
direction of the Superintendent, subject to the approval
of the Committee on Grounds. _

There were present Messrs Andrews, Austin, Bigelow,
Cheever, Crocker, Curtis, Little, Nazro and Rand.

Dr. Bigelow submitted the following vote which
was adopted, but was subsequently reconsiderd and
laid on the table till the next meeting.
