" fifteen thousand two hundred and five (15205) square
" feet, more or less. _

Contract for Construction of Fountain _

" And the said Proprietors covenant with the said
" Mary Hemenway that they will construct a fountain
" and basin
on said land, which as far as the height
" of said land will permit, shall be equal and sim-
" ilar to the fountain and basin in the "Lawn," in said
" Cemetery, and which shall be kept running and in in
" repair as long as the said fountain in said Lawn.

" And the said Proprietors also contract that they will
" cover with grass the said tract or parcel of land, and
" will keep the same in good condition forever. _

" And the said Mary Hemenway hereby agrees and
" promises to pay to the said Proprietors of the Cemetery of
" Mount Auburn six thousand dollars ($6.000) as soon as
" the said fountain shall be completed and in operation.

Assent of Horticultural Society

The Committee on Grounds, through Dr Bigelow,
also reported that they had obtained from the Massa-
chusetts Horticultural Society
a release of their claim on
the above-named premises, as explained in the words
following: _
