Trustees _ . Meeting for Organization

The first meeting of the Trustees of the Cemetery
of Mount Auburn for organization and business
was held at the office of the Corporation (33
School Street) on _

There were present, Messrs Austin, Bigelow,
Cheever, Curtis, Livermore, Nazro, Rand,
Reed and Sleeper. _

The Secretary read the records of the two last
meetings of the Trustees, and of the annual meeting
of the Proprietors and of the adjournment thereof.

The Trustees proceeded to the choice
of officers and Committees for the ensuing year. _

Choice of President

Mr Read acted as a committee to receive
and count the votes. _

Dr Jacob Bigelow was unanimously chosen Prest

Expediency of uniting duties Sec.y & Treasr referred to Specl Comee

On motion by Mr Curtis,

Voted that the question of the expediency of writing
the duties of Secretary and Treasurer in our person,
be referred to a Committee of three, to report upon
as soon as they may deem it expedient.
