A meeting of the Trustees was held agree-
ably to adjournment on Tuesday the , at 10 o'clock a.m. _

There were present the President, and Messrs
Adams, Austin, Bowditch, Cheever, Little,
Livermore, Lovejoy, Read and Sleeper _ 10 _

The record of the last meeting was read.

Amendt to Art VI of By-Law _

The amendment to the By law respecting the
duties of the Treasurer proposed at the meeting
viz. to insert, after the clause requiring
checks to be countersigned by one or more of
the Committee of Finance, the words _

"And, in the absence of said Committee,
by one or more members of the Board." _

was read and adopted. _

Appropriation for purchase of Stone Meadow adopted _

The following motion submitted at the last meeting
was taken from the table and adopted: _

"That five thousand dollars, or such sum
as shall be required, at the rate of one thou-
sand dollars per acre, be and is hereby appro-
priated for the purchase of the meadow of James
F. Stone
and others referred to in the proposition
this day submitted to this board." _
