that they had received a communication from Mr Joseph
G. Coolidge
complaining of the manner in which the City
of Cambridge
had graded said Avenue in front of his
premises.

Treasr authorized to pay $250 for same, upon receiv.g bond of indemnity _

Upon motion of Mr Rand

Voted. That the Treasurer be authorized to pay $250 ~
to the City of Cambridge for the improvements
made upon Coolidge Avenue, upon receiving
from said City a sufficient bond of indemnity
against any claim for damages by the abutters
or satisfactory release from said abutters.

Sale of strip of Stone Meadow to City of Camb.

The Committee on Grounds submitted a
proposition from the mayor of Cambridge asking speedy
action in regard to selling the said City a strip of
land next to the Cambridge Cemetery; which was
referred back to said Committee with full power.

Appropriation for shrubs & plants _

Upon motion of Mr Rand

Voted. That a sum not exceeding five hundred dollars
be expended at the discretion of the Committee
on grounds, in the purchase shrubs and
plants for the cemetery.
