as a Special Committee of conference with the Presidents of
other Cemeteries in the vicinity of Boston in regard to admission to
the Cemetery on "Decoration=Day", stating that the conference had
been held resulting in a mutual understanding for the exclusion
of all vehicles on that day excepting those used for carrying flowers
and other decorations and the carriages of proprietors.

Voted, – that the Report be accepted.

Voted, – that all vehicles, excepting those of Proprietors, to
be admitted under the usual rules, and vehicles used to carry
decorations, be excluded fromMt Auburn Cemetery on "Decoration-
Day".

Stone Meadow. Jos. G. Coolidge's Application to purchase part of.
Conveyance of certain portion recommended.

A Report was received from the Committee on Grounds
to whom was referred the application of Joseph G. Coolidge to
purchase a small strip of land from the Stone meadow, declining
to recommend the sale of the premises included in the original
application of Mr Coolidge, but advising the conveyance of part of
the same measuring "about fourteen feet wide at the rear ditch"
and tapering to a point on Coolidge Avenue, a distance of about
two hundred feet, – according to the estimate of the Superintendent, –
continuing a little less than fourteen hundred square feet, at the
price of twelve and a half cents per foot.

Voted, – that the Report be accepted,

Sale authorized.

Voted, – that the Committee on Grounds be authorized to effect
the sale to Mr Coolidge of the parcel of land above described upon
the terms named.

Fencing & grading on Mt Auburn St;

A Report was received from the same Committee in regard
to raising the fence and sidewalk on Mt Auburn St, stating as the
result of the conference ordered by the Board to be held by them
