Sec'y. instructed to call Sp. Meeting

Boston,

To Saml Batchelder Jr., Secretary, Mt Auburn Cem'y. Corpn.

Sir,

Your [sic] are hereby instructed to call
a Meeting of the Board of Trustees, as above, by notification issued
in the usual manner.

In accordance with the request and call aforesaid, and
pursuant to notifications duly issued, a Special Meeting of
the Board of Trustees was held on , at half
past three o'clock P. M.

Present, the President, and Messrs. Turner, N. J. Bradlee,
Livermore and Brewer.

The record of the last meeting was read an approved.

Report on compn of Receiving Tomb.

A report was received from the President in behalf
of the Committee on Grounds to which was referred the question
as to "what action shall be taken relative to the completion of the
Receiving Tomb." The report consisted of two letters on the sub-
ject from the Superintendent, respectively dated & It was

Voted, that the report be accepted and placed on file.

Props purchase of Old Coolidge Place

The President submitted certain communications from
the Superintendent respectively dated , and , in
reference to the purchase by the Corporation of "the old Coolidge Place"
Also a letter from the Superintendent of the date first mentioned
addressed by him to the President personally. Said communications
being accompanied by a Plan of the vicinity of the Cemetery,
