Resolved, – that the Trustees in their next Annual
Report ask of the Proprietors that they be authorized to
procure a suitable testimonial to be presented to Dr. Bigelow,
as a token of appreciation of his long=continued and
faithful services as President and Trustee.

Voted, – that the Secretary be instructed to
transmit to Dr. Bigelow a copy of the foregoing resolutions.

Proposed Memorial Work of Art,

The foregoing Resolutions as moved by Mr Rand,
and seconded by Mr Livermore were unanimously adopted
by the Board, the members all rising.

Further verbal statements were made to the Board
by Dr. Bigelow in reference to the donation to the Corporation
of a Memorial Work of Art, as proposed by him at the Meeting
held , (see p. 38,) after consideration of which^on motion of Mr Turner
it was

Dr. Bigelow's Comnsrespecting, referred to Com. on Grounds.

Voted, – that the verbal communication now made by
Dr. Bigelow be referred to the Committee on Grounds, with
instructions to report thereupon at an adjourned Meeting
of the Board on Wednesday the at 3:30 P. M.

Com. on Lots to Enquire &c. as to prices &c. chargd by Corpn for certain work.

On motion of Mr Turner it was

Voted, – that the Committee on Lots enquire and report
whether the prices chrged by the corporation for the care of
Lots, and grading and sodding the same, are as reasonable as
those charged by other parties for similar work as well
performed; and such information as will promote the
objects of having all the Lots under the care of the
