Trustees

An adjourned meeting of the Trustees was held
on Monday, , at half past Three o'clock P.M.

Present, Messrs. Bigelow, J. T. Bradlee, Lawrence,
Little, Livermore, Perkins, Pickering, Snow Turner.

The record of the last meeting having been read,*

Testimonial to Dr. Bigelow referred to Special Committee

Mr Livermore having in pursuance of notice
given at the last meeting, called up the subject of the proposed
Testimonial to Dr. Bigelow, it was

Voted, – that this subject be referred to a committee, consisting
of the President and two Trustees to be appointed by him. – The
President
appointed Messrs. Livermore and Little as associate
members of said Committee.

Reports from Com. on Grounds.

Reports were received from the Committee on Grounds
as follows;

John McNamee, Gen. Permit granted.

(a) Recommending the granting of a general permit to do work
in the Cemetery to John McNamee, as per application from him
dated , he giving the usual bond of $1000, – with two
sureties satisfactory to the President.

Superintendent Salary & emolluments of

(b) Report covering an order to the effect that the salary of the
Superintendent
be fixed at $2500. – for the ensuing year, and
that he shall have the use of a house with the grounds thereto

Record amended.

* the Secretary was instructed to amend the same by stating that the
re=appointment of the Committee on Birds, and of the Committee on By=Law
revision was made by the President, in pursuance of the provision of the
new By=Laws, instead of by Vote of the Board, as stated; and that the
record so amended be approved.
