Trustees. .

.

An adjourned monthly meeting of the Trustees
was held on Wednesday, , at Four P.M.

Present, Messrs. N.J. Bradlee, Brewer, Choate,
Little, Perkins, Pickering, Snow and Turner.

In the absence of the President, the meeting
was called to order by the Secretary, and Mr Snow was
chosen chairman.

Candidate for Superintendent. Report of Com. appd to nominate; accepted.

The record of the last meeting was read and approved.

A written report was received from the Committee
appointed at the last meeting of the Board to consider and
report a suitable candidate or candidates for the office
of Superintendent, stating that they had "attended to the
duty assigned them, and unanimously report the name
of Mr James W. Lovering of Cambridge as such candidate."

Voted, – that the report be accepted.

Ballot for. Time of commencing his duties

On motion of Mr Bradlee,

Voted, – that the Board proceed to ballot for a
Superintendent, with the understanding that the person
elected to that office shall enter upon the discharge of
its duties at such time as may be fixed upon by the nomi-
nating Committee in consultation with him, and with
the present incumbent.

Report of Committee on the ballot for.

Mr Bradlee having been designated by the chair
as a Committee to collect, count and sort the ballots
for Superintendent, reported that the whole number of
ballots cast was Eight, –
