Trustees. .

Board to prepare their ballots for President, and Mr N. J.
Bradlee
having been designated as a Committee to collect
and count the votes, announced the result as follows, viz: –

Election of Mr I. M. Spelman President
Whole number of ballots cast 6

All of which were for Mr Israel M. Spelman, and
he was accordingly declared ^elected to the office aforesaid.

Appointment of Mr J. T. Bradlee on the Com. on Grounds & on the Com. on rel. with Mass. Hort. Soc.

A vacancy in the Committee on Grounds having
been caused by the resignation of Mr J. T. Bradlee, the
ex officio chairman of the Committee, the said vacancy
was filled by the appointment of Mr Bradlee as a
member of that Committee, by the President.

On motion of Mr Snow, it was

Voted, – that Mr J. T. Bradlee be added to the Commit-
tee consisting of the President and Messrs. Choate and Snow
appointed , on the relations between this
corporation and the Massachusetts Horticultural Society.

Watering street in front of Cem'y. Contract for for 1874.

A report was received from Mr J. T. Bradlee
that arrangements had been made with the City of
Cambridge
for watering the street in front of the
Cemetery during the present season from Coolidge Av.
to the stables of the Union Railway Company for the
sum of $167.50 ^on the part of this Corporation and asking that the Board would appropriate
that sum for the purpose named.

Water supply for Cemetery. Report ''inexpedient'' acccepted.

Voted, – that the report be accepted and the appro-
priation made as desired.

A report was received from the same gentleman
as chairman of the Committee on Grounds to whom by a
vote of the Board adopted, was referred
