At the last meeting of the Trustees, the Committee
on Lots were instructed to direct the Treasurer how
to charge the Bills paid in 1864, for the improvement
of the Lot of the late Judge ^Story and to ascertain if in
any way, the Balance of the "Fund for the Story Statue"
can be appropriated thereto. The Committee ask
leave to Report: as regards the payments of the Bills in
1844, they refund the Treasurer to the Records of the
Corporation
^where under date of he was
directed to pay said Bills.

As regards the "Story Statue fund" the Treasurer stated
that he has had for past ten years, a Balance ^ to the credit of that
account, upon the Books of the Corporation of $990.97
and that no interest has been credited to the account
during that time.

From documents furnished by the Secretary, the
Committee find that in 1854 the surviving Subscribers
to the fund, petitioned the Trustees to have the Statue
placed in the Chapel, which petition, was referred
to a Committee, who reported, that they had caused
the statue to be so placed. There appears no further
record of any action upon the subject.
