Ruben Rice, Esq.,
Hotel Darmouth, Dudley St., Roxbury.
Dear Sir:-
If the granite which now forms division walks of your lot
is removed, and the place filled with loam and sodded over, the
cost would be $50.00 (fifty dollars) and the old material.
All the fence and granite could be removed, posts set
to mark the boundaries of the lots, the numbers cut and the whole
regraded using the sod now there as far as it will go for $125.00
(one hundred and twenty five dollars) and the old material.
Repectfully yours,
Sup't

Dear Sir:-
Herbert J. Griffin has been employed here but a few weeks
and I have had no opportunity to know much about him in any way,
but I know of nothing whatever to discredit.
Respectfully yours,
Sup't.
