Status: Needs Review

The Committee to whom was referred the subject
of a monument to Soldiers (?) request leave to
Report.

That they approve of the suggestion of the
President, that this Corporation contribute towards
the erection , at Mount Auburn, of a Monument
to the brave citizens, who have fallen in defense
of the Laws, during the Civil War. That if
The Trustees concur with the Committee,
then they would suggest, that in addition
to the model already before them, (scratched out "that")
Artists be invited to send in designs for
the inspection of the Board.
