for it for I have felt impresed that something was the matter and I have told John so sometime ago although I did not expect it in the form it has come, but I see when I was home Robart was not what he had ben I talked with John about it then for at times it appeared to me that he appeared lost. Oh that I could know he holds now hard feeling against me for what I sayed to you that morning I left home I did not say it out of eney ill will towards him or that I should not be as glad to see him as eney one but you know what I dreaded I would have ben glad to have sean him if he had ben him self which John told me afterwards he was for he saw him and talked with him. I am sorry I sayed eney thing at all and cannot forgive myself for it. Mother I have thought that perhaps you hold a hardnes towards me on account of it as I have not received a line from you since I left. I hope Robart is better (although I fear not) Oh may we all live to meat again. Sep 10 to day John is not as well as usual, Sarah does not say eney thing about what you did about the sewing mashean I have writen you befor what to do if you want eney thing.
