O clock finished boiling about 20 gallons two sail in

breeses from the N.E. the last part strong breeses
and clear weathear at 11 AM saw a finback &c started bread

All this day strong breases and clear weathear
the most part at the last part some rain squales at
½ past 12 PM put _______ Brigs in irons for fighting &c and also
refused duty and swore that he would not do no more work on board.

Line 13: It appears that the mate is developing a case of channel fever [anxious to complete the voyage]. For a number of days, he's been adding words to "so ends this day," to show the monotony or dissatisfaction with the number of whales captured.
