State of North Carollina,
Office of
Superintendent of Public Instruction
Raleigh

Aug 4- 1908

Capt T. C Henderson
Quebec N.C

Dear Sir:

I shall continue very feeble, and humbly able to be
up much of the time. It will always
be a regret to me that I was so sick while
at your place. Really I dont understand
how I got along, at all. My chest troubles
me a great deal, the doctor calls it
muscular rheumatism, but I think
it is something more serious.

I was pleased with the appearances
of your tenders, and request that I
could not have seen more of them.
You are doing a fine work in
a quiet way, and the future will
tell an interesting story of educated
progress in Transylvania, thanks
for your kindness &c

Yours truly [[unclear]]
