Science in (1) Animal Husbandry (2) Dairy Husbandry and (3) Poultry Husbandry.
The curricula are designed to equip men (and women) as owners and managers of
general farms where livestock is handled, for more specialized types of dairy and
poultry farming, as intructors and investigators in animal industry and
animal nutrition.

Livestock and poultry units are maintained by the college as field
laboratoris for instruction in the above enterprises.

The farm enterprises are used not only in the insruction of college
students, but of high school, N.F.A and 4-H boys and girls, older youth and
adult farmers who attend the short courses offered by the Department

Biology.

The Department and Biology offers general courses in Botany and Zoology
which are required in all curricula of the college. These general courses are
considered basic in the education of all students regardless of their major.
In addition to the general courses, the department offers courses that are
designed ofr students specializing in Agronomy, Animal Husbandy, Poultry
Husbandy, Home Economics, Nursing, Physical Education, Social Education,
Social Sciences and pre-professional preparation in veterinary medicine, medicine
and dentistry.

The department offers a major leading to the degree of Bachelor of
Science in Biological Science. Graduates of this departmetn are qualified for
positions as junior biolgists in civil service employment.

Chemistry

The function of the Department of Chemistry is similar to that of Biology.
The Department of Chemistry is designed to meet the needs of students having
the following objectives:
