And be it further enacted, by the authority
aforesaid; That as Vestrymen hereafter shall be capable
of holding or exercising the office of Clerk of the
Vestry; but the Vestry of every respective Parish
shall appoint some ^(other) Person of skill and Probity to
officiate as such.
