Subject: Personnel; transfer.

1. Upon receipt hereof, transfer MEEKINS, Morris J., (107-159), surfman, to Chicamacomico station for duty. Report action on Form 2599.

2. The travel necessary to the execution of this order will be performed by government conveyance.

INSTRUCTIONS 1. This form is to be prepared in triplicate at the unit from which trasnferred. Retain one copy and forward original and one copy to the unit which transferred. 2. When the two copies are received at the latter unit, receipt on original for the papers listed thereon and return it immediately to the unit from which the man was trasferred, noting any discrepancies. 3. When a person is transferred to a division commander, district commander, or other officer havingmore than one unit under his command, that officer shall complete the report of transfer accompanying the man; and if that officer retransfers him to another unit under his command or not under his command, he shall prepare new transfer reports in accordance with the foregoing instructions. 4. When enlisted persons are transferred from one unit to another unit under the same command the transfer shall be reported in the usual manner on this form. 5. Each unit will transmit such papers as will enable new units to have a complete record of man's conduct during his current enlistment.
