The c.o.s of the patrol boats are
showing good courage in the face of°
possible odds in gunfire that might
develop from these attacks. It is submitted
that consideration be given to installing a
half cylindrical 1/4" special steel plate flanged on
the bottom, resting on a track permitting
rotation in direction of fire, supported by
a double rail inside and outside to
guide travel. This to be just below
point where machine gun can be
depressed 45°.
