Gen. Brown came home a
1st Lieut. and is selling ladies
furnishing goods on the road.
Preble came home a 2.d Lieut
and is also a traveling
salesman.
McKurney came home a 2.d
Lieut. He was wounded severely
in the knww while with the
4th Div. and still suffers a
lot. He was discharged from
hospital as cured, and until
quite recently only got $9 a
month compensatin, that has
lately been increased to $33
and he gets along nicely with
working at selling securities and
