I went to an "At Home"
this afternoon, in honor
of a neighborhood hero
who came home last week
with Simpson, Devers,
McNarney et al. The
hero was a stranger to
me altho' I have known
his wife and his Mother
for sometime. He's a nice
fellow, but I'll still take
our Sgt.. Kidding aside,
tho', I really had a nice
time. Everyone thought
that Lt. Culotta would
be discharged, but it seems
not, tho' he has a flock
of decorations, including
a purple Heart with 2
clusters and was with
the 7th Army from Salerno
