My dearest Thomas,

This mail is all finished again. We started
on it this morning and before bedtime it was all
cleaned up. We did such a thourgh job of it that we
will only have one day liberty. Tomorrow we will
start liberty again and I will go ashore as the other
section had libery yesterday.

This mail only brought me papers and magazines.
I recieved the [???], Observer two or three Life, [???]
and American magazines. We keep up to date on the
magazines wich we consider very good to be away over
here. I appreciate you sending them so much. I'm the
only one recieving magazines and the other guys enjoying them
as much as I.

Hope to get some letters in a few days. It doesn't
take me but a day or two to get real hungry for more
letters. I can get a [???] today but I will want some more in the
next few days. I have to learn from you so much.
Im finding tops and getting along swell, I love you,
Harry
