I had one tenth [1/10] of an acre and had the ground broken in Feburay [?] and May the, 28, I sat out my tomatoes and shaded them. and when I thought they had taken root I taken off the Shade and they bega [began] to grow then I had it plowed and th [crossed out] when thay [they] got about half gro[illegible] the Leavs [?] began to Shed around the botom [bottom] I haught mask it was the Feterlizer I put under them. and when they started to get [illegible] they began to rot and fall of [off] and when thay [they] did get rip thay were pait. [?] I only had 4 cans of red tomatoes. in all was 72. I hope it will bee better next year.
