Dear Jim,

Thank you for the return of my book and materials.

I am very much interested in publishing, but from experience I've learned that to have it done to my satisfaction, I either have to write the material myself, or be in close contact with him who does. With my current teaching load here at the Naval War College, my time does not permit either just yet.

I will be back to you for writing assistance when I find I can set aside time for the project. Meanwhile, if a public relations opportunity for which prolonged preparation is not required pops up, I would appreciate your considering me.
