Saturday, March 18, 1922

A colde lonely day. Ben
worked on the garden. Jim
helped Johnson on his plant
bed until twelve he come
home to dinner. This evening
Ben went [together?] Jim and
I went with him. Jim went
to Chatham I done some shopping.
Ben bought some flour. We
got home about night. Henry
and Professer Gambol went
to the Sulpher Springs. Hugh
come here. Henry & Hugh went
down the branch fishing
did not catch any thing.
Miss Janie Gravely come
to see Josie. This evening we
were very glad that she come.
I did want to go and see Carrie this evening.
