A beautiful day. Ben &
Jim worked on their
tobacco land. Henry went
to Renan. Josie and I
ironed all the morning. Mrs
Car churned. Josie got
dinner in 30 minutes.
She had caned sausage
made a dewberry pie
had caned tomatoes
boiled 14 eggs made bread
and coffee. Kate Harvey
come & Carrie and all
children. I was glad
to see all of them. Kate
& I worked button holes.
Kate brought some
sallit.
