Saturday, November 17, 1923

Saturday. A colde clear
day. The men stripped
tobacco all day. Henry
hauled some wood tonight.
Henry and Joe Edmons went
to John Emersons to a
social. Ben has gone
to Johnson Reynols.
He had a letter from
Kate Harvey. She is
visiting Virginia Thomson
at Welch W. Va. I was
surprised to hear that
she was there.
Franklin said I must
write that Henry caught
a hawk in his steel
trap this morning.
The children are all
bathed and want to go
to Marvin's tomorrow.
I am a fraid the day
will be so colde
that they cant go.
