A good day. Ben and the
children and I went
to Marvin's. Carrie had
a good dinner. Fried
chicken and tomatoes and
macaronie and chees caned
peaches and fruit cake.
It was all good and nice. This evening
Carrie and I and Henry
and Reese went to see
my sister Nannie Bennett.
She has bin sick and
looks bad now but
I hope she may soon
get well.
All of Nannies daughters
was there. I was glad
to see them. We come
by Tims[or Jims?] and talked
with them a minutes.[sic]
We got home in good
time. I got supper.
Ben and Henry has gone some where.
