Monday, October 9, 1922

A bad day. Jim & Mr Booker
went to Gretna. They have
got back as far as Mr Bookers.
It is raining so hard that
any one would get wet
in a few minutes. I did
not milk but one cow
tonight. The children
are at the dineing room
getting their lessons. Fanny
Power is with them. She
come up here last night
from church. Henry made
a proffession last night and
joined the church. Josie
has not suffered so much
today. Ben commenced to
strip tobacco today.
The children went to school today.
