Saturday, August 31, 1918

A good day. Clouds a bout but no rain here to speak of. The men folks finished cutting a house of tobacco. Josie ironed this morning. Lizzie churned for me. I went to see Julia Fergerson this morning. She was at Carries. Marvin carried her home. Kate Harvey come a while this evening. Lizzie and Edna and Franklin walked with her some of the way home. Ben and Owen is at barns to night.
